I am looking for information that pertains to pioneer families in Nebraska, Missouri, Tennessee, N. Carolina, S. Carolina, Illinois and Arkansas and neighboring states with surnames of Morris, Palmer, Jacobs, Cover, Land, Whipple, Ketchum, and Mull. The Lands lived in Arkansas, Tennessee, Mississippi and the Carolinas. The Morris and Cover families began in Virginia and Maryland in the 1750's, and moved through Ohio, Illinois, Arkansas and Nebraska to settle in central and western Nebraska in the 1880's. The Palmers settled in N. Carolina in 1750's and were preachers. They came to Tennessee and on to Northern Missouri, where my great-grandfather married Martha Jane Jacobs. Her parents were pioneers in Sullivan County, MO and came from Tennessee or Kentucky. I would like to find ancestors of William Harvey Jacobs. The Mulls were a Dutch family who settled in New York state, moved to Pennsylvania and then to Illinois by way of S. Carolina. The Lands were pioneers in Tennessee in the early 1800's in Central Tennessee. The name Cooper Bennett Land appears in an unbroken line in 5 generations, moving to Eastern Arkansas in 1850 or so. Would like information about them before 1820.
