| Researching my family, the Finleys', that migrated to Shelby County Alabama in the early 1800's. The research beginning with my grandfather, Theodore Patrick(Pat)Finley. My grandfather was the hardest working and most honest man I've ever met. T.P. Finley lost his father at the early age of 11 and was tasked with providing for his 4 younger sisters here in Shelby County Alabama. All my efforts in researching the journey of the Finleys' and their ancestoral heritage are dedicated to the memory of my grandfather. Beloved husband of Esther Finley(Whitman), and father of six children. Theodore Patrick Finley was born in the Kingdom, Shelby County Alabama. Died Jefferson County Alabama at the age of 92. |
