Searching Cumberland County, PA for Finkenbinder branches. Havecompleted direct lineage to Hainrich der Fintboner (1350).

Searching my family line (Gillespie) in Transylvania County
North Carolina. Have direct line back to John Gillespie who
died in l822 in Old Toxaway, North Carolina. His wife was Jean
Harvey who died in l808. I have all their children and my direct ancestors from me to them. I am hoping to get from John back.

I am lucky to have had an aunt who has an interest in genealogy
and did a lot of work on this. I am also lucky to have access
to family memorabilia as my Aunt lives in the house that's been
in the family since before the Civil War.

I'm a novice...learning as I go along. Always happy to help anyone and appreciate advice from you experts!
