We believe that my gg grandfather, Joseph Wood, was the Captain of the Tugboat 'Jane Jolliffe' in Liverpool.
The Jane Jolliffe was built in 1888 for W & T Jolliffe. It was sold in 1913 to the French and renamed Phoceen. It was sold again to the Greeks in 1925 and renamed Mimis. It was lost at Piraeus in 1941, during the Second World War.
