The W. Glenn Firing Family Home Page

Currently researching the "Firing" name from the Eastern Pennsylvania region as well as the "Slonaker name from the same region of Pennsylvania. Am trying to find Ancestor information on William Slonaker, born Dec 28, 1802 in New Chester, Pa., died Aug 14, 1889 in York Co., Pa. He was married twice.....1st to Leah Albrigh & 2nd to Margaret Cashman. There were a total of 9 children from the 2 marriages.....5 girls, Lydia, Sara, Kate, Mary & Eliza & 4 boys, David, John, Jerry (Jeremiah) & George. There is some evidence to suggest this William is the son of John, born 1773 & also had 2 other brothers, David, born 1806 & John, born 1819. Am currently trying to substantiate such information. Any help would be greatly appreciated & am willing to share my information with others researching the same family names.
