* The Northeastern Kentucky Fisher Family*

Updated September 5, 2000

My sister, Cathy, must've caught the family tree bug. She found a page on FamilyTreeMaker from James Fisher. I didn't really know anything about the Fisher side of my family except what dad and Nanny (Mary)Fisher had told me.

As it turns out James is my third cousin. I found that out with the relationship calculator in FTM v7.0. I have been adding all the info I can get. I have been doing some work on my mother's family in the past, so my tree is growing in that direction, too. Probably the most interesting tree I will be working on is my wife's mother's family. It seems that they are descended from a man named Jesse Wise. There are some possible links to George Washington. The two that are more certain are Nathan Hale ("I regret I have but one life to give for my country") and Diana Spencer, or better known as Princess Di.

As short as my attention span is, who knows how long I'll do this. It's fun now, so what the heck!
