Records.). She married ROBERT MILLER (Source: Joseph Romeo.), son of DEBORIX MILLER and SARAH CONSEALER. He was born 27 Sep 1822 in Delaware (Source: Silas Farmer, Sumpter History, (1890).), and died 27 Jan 1912 in Michigan (Source: Dick Klopshinske citing tombstone.).

This seems to establish Dean as Mary's birth name, though the Sumpter History cited in Robert's notes refers to her as Mary Jones.

Notes for ROBERT MILLER:
From Dick Klopshinske, quoting book by Jeanne Hartwick "Sumpter Township 1840-1910" which quotes from 'History of Detroit and Wayne County and Early Michigan' Vol II, by Silas Farmer 1890.
"ROBERT MILLER was born in Delaware, Sept. 27, 1822, came to Michigan in 1864, and settled in Sumpter. He married Mary Jones, of New Jersey. They had 12 children, nine of whom survive [1890], viz.: Maria, Elizabeth, Sarah, Josiah, Mary, Virginia, Philander, Rebecca and Oliver. His wife died Aug. 16, 1880.

Dick Klopshinske has 9/28/1821, presumably from family data or tombstones. But earlier census figures indicate Robert was even younger (b. ca. 1824), and are more likely to be reliable.

From "Indexed Lists of Landowners from 1876" of the Downriver Genealogical Society, 1980, Robert Miller and son-in-law John Perkins owned adjacent farms on the east side of Haggerty Road, John's on the southeast corner of Harris Road and Robert's immediately to the south of that. Each had 40 acres.

The Miller stone in Martinsville cemetery is a Oblisk with names on 4 sides,
two of which are now illegible. Information of death for Robert is on one of
these unreadable sides, but was copied by an uncle about 40 years ago.
