Mitsawokett obituary: In Fairfield Township 26 Dec 1955, Anna Durham, wife of the late Caleb Johnson, aged 73 years, died early yesterday morning at the home of Waymon Pierce on Reeves road in Fairfield Township.
Mrs. Johnson and the late Mr. Johnson had operated a luncheonette at Sea Breeze for many years.
She is survived by three sons, Elwood, Paul and James, all of Fairfield Township; two (sic) brothers, Benjamin and Thomas Durham, Cheswold, Delaware, and Norman of Penn Grove; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at the Cornelius J. Mack Funeral Home, with Joseph Panichelli of the Watchtower Society, in charge. Interment will be in Fordville Memorial Park.

Mitsawokett obituary: In Fairfield Township 22 Mar 1954, Caleb Johnson, husband of Anna Durham Johnson, aged 76 years died Monday night following a lingering illness. A retired farmer, Mr. Johnson had been a resident of Sea Breeze for the past 42 years. He and his wife had operated a store and private dining room there for many years.
The deceased was a native of Cheswold, Del. He is survived by his wife, three sons, Elwood, Paul and James, all of Sea Breeze; two brothers, Robert of Philadelphia and Charles Edward, Bridgeton; and two sisters, Mrs. Rebecca Carson, Philadelphia, and Mrs. Sinia Harmon, Gouldtown.
Funeral services will be held...at the funeral home of Cornelius J. Mack. Interment will be in Fordville Memorial Park.

He was married to Artalissa Wright (daughter of Edward Wright and Barbara Pierce) and the marriage ended in divorce. Artalissa Wright was born on Jan 22 1903 in Canton, NJ. No children by second m to James Mulford. She was buried on Jun 28 1975 in Gouldtown Memorial Park, Gouldtown, Cumberland, New Jersey. She died on Jun 25 1976 in CUMBERLAND COUNTY, NJ.
He was married to Estella Janie Licanchuck (daughter of Stephan Likanchuk and Mary Matusevna). No children by this marriage, the Tavinsky children you have on the web are by Jane's first husband.

Mitsawokett obituary: Capt. James H. Johnson, 78, of RD 4, Laning Wharf Road died early Tuesday afternoon at Bridgeton Hospital after having been stricken at his home. He had been in failing health the past year.
Born in lower Hopewell Township, he was the son of the late Caleb and Annie Durham Johnson and the husband of Sarah Reba Pritchett Johnson. Mr. and Mrs. Johnson had celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary last September.
Mr. Johnson was self-employed as a charter boat captain in Fortescue, as well as a builder of both homes and boats.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by five daughters, Eleanor Cuff of Millville, Esther Nyberg of Upper Deerfield Township, Katherine Pierce of Elmer, Olive Beckett of Parvins Mill Road and Marguerite Johnson of Vineland; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, James D. Johnson, who died in l971.
Services will be conducted by the. Rev. Earl R Heckman, pastor of First Wesleyan Church, from the Sray Funeral Home, Carlls Corner, on Friday at 11 a.m. Interment will be made in the family plot at Fernwood Memorial Park Friends my call Friday morning one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
Death Notice: JOHNSON _ Of RD. #4, Laning Wharf Road, Bridgeton, N.J., suddenly on Tuesday July 17, 1984. Captain James H. Johnson, husband of Sarah Reba Pritchett Johnson, and father of Eleanor Cuff, Esther Nyberg, Katherine Pierce, Olive Beckett and Marguerite Johnson, aged 78 years.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services on Friday morning, July 20 at 11 a.m., from the Sray Funeral Home, Carlls Corner with interment in the family plot at. Fernwood Memorial Park. Friends may call Friday morning from 10 to 11 prior to the services.
