Elizabeth Ainsworth Flood Fischer

I have been working on my family tree for about five years, taking up where my grandmother, Lillian Viola Ainsworth Fleet, left off.
I am descended from Mareen Duvall, a French Huguenot, who came to America in the 1600's and became a tobacco farmer in Anne Arundel Co., Maryland.

Most of my ancestors are from Anne Arundel Co., but I have been tracing some branches out into Virginia, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New York and Ireland.

I have been working on the Fleet-Marchant branch of my family from Virginia. I most recently located Alexander Washington Fleet, who I believe is my 2nd great-grandfather, of Mathews Co., Virginia. I have not yet positively connected him to my great-grandfather, Thomas Woodson Fleet, but hope to do so very soon.

I live in Alaska so it is difficult for me to readily access geneaolgy records. I occasionally make business trips to Salt Lake City and make use of the Family History Library there when I can. I have also used the Maryland State Historical Library in Annapolis, Maryland, where most of my family still lives.

I am willing to share any information that I have collected and I would appreciate receiving any information that may be connected to my family tree.
