Walter O'Connell was killed after hsi ship, The Gypsum Queen, blew up off the coast of france in 1919. He was only 19 years old at the time and the war was over. He was scheduled to be back in the US within one week. Jimmy Pesature was married to Walter's Aunt Isabell O'Connell known as Bella. Walter is the taller of the two.
