William Daniel Fisher14 was born November 27, 1884 in Franklin, Pendleton County, WV14, and died October 24, 1952 in Marlington, Pochantas County, WV14. He married Bessie Edna Moore on December 25, 1908 in Montrose, Randolph County, WV14, daughter of John Holsberry Moore and Catherine Anne Hyre.

Before his marriage, he had a cleaning and barber shop in Jenningston, which became a ghost town when the lumber industry moved away. Jenningston was located on the Dry Fork Railroad which connected Hendricks and Harman.
After he married Bessie Moore Fisher, he joined his father in law in operating Moore & Co. until the depression forced him to seek other employment. For a time, he was the sign foreman for WVDOH, District 8. He then leased properties in WV and surrounding states for various oil & gas companies. He was on a special assignment in Pochontas County whrn he succumbed to a heart attack and died in Marlington, WV.
