The Cecil's and Burroughs are traced back to Maryland's Catholic family's. The Cecil/Cissel family left with the Maryland League to Kentucky. My husbands side of the family The FITZGERALD'S AND WARD'S are of Irish descent. Beginning with the Fitzgerald's in VA and GA in the 1700's then on to TN and TX. I would like to find the Irish immigrants for this family. The WARD's went from VT to NY settling in KS. Also looking for information on My father's mother's side in KY - Atkisson's and Millay's and my mother's mother and father in MD - Schroen's and Myer's. |
