OUCH......That ole genealogy bug bit me bad!!!!

I have been working for about 4 months mainly on the Fitchie branch from Ireland. But I have of late been inundated with information from various branches of my family. I guess I have been made the family archivist.

I was contacted via e-mail from a possible long lost relative in Belfast, which started me on my searches. I hope to travel to Ireland within the next year or two. Thanks Irene... hope to see you and your family soon.

I also have strong roots in the mid-west with family ties to Cruickshank, Schanot, Kreifels, Weddle, and others. Thanks Jackie and Joyce!!!!

  John Francis Meegan was born in County Monoghan, Ireland. He emmigrated and settled in Nebraska City, Nebraska.
• Robert Hamilton Fitchie/Fitchey & Sarah Lowry (18 KB)
  Both Robert and Sarah were born and died in County Down. Some of my research is showing that the family name Fitchie, may have been changed from Fitchey. I am working on this aspect
• Taylor McGuire and Mary (19 KB)
  Taylor moved from Iowa to Nebraska City Nebraska. As of yet, I don't have anyother information about Mary.
