The Fitzner Family Home Page

My great grandfather, Gustave Paul Fitzner and his wife, Amelia Pru immigrated from Germany to New Orleans sometime in the early to mid 1800's (I'm not sure of the actual dates at this time). As far as I can tell they had one child, Gustave Paul Fitzner, Sr. (I feel that they possibly had others as the norm of that time were large families). Gustave Paul Fitzner, Sr. married Maude K. Ennis, the daughter of William Ennis and Marcella Drysdale of New Orleans. My Grandfather (Sr) and Grandmother moved to Port Arthur, TX in the early 1900's for employment in the upcoming oil industry. They had four children, Dorothy, Beulah, Gustave Paul Fitzner, Jr and Stanton Fitzner. I am searching for more information pertaining to my great grandparents from Germany and for any information on the Ennis family. I would certainly be thankful for any information that could be provided by others. Thank you.
