James Coulter (b1901) (9 KB) This is my father's 1st cousin once removed. He is proudly stood in front of a model of a Millom Pit built by his father, also James born 1867. 1851 Census for John Fitzwilliam (65 KB) This is the earliest census record I have found for John. John appears to have come over to Cumberland from Ireland with his wife and 8 children. Where they came from is still a mystery! Any ideas are most welcome!! Gravestone of John Fitzwilliam (25 KB) John moved with his family between 1861 and 1871 down to Millom, Cumberland. He died on 12/10/1879.
