My paternal grandfather came from Tralee, Co. Kerry, Ireland about 1879. My paternal grandmother was Martha Coppard from Lewes in Sussex. My maternal grandfather was James Leppard. His family came from the Cowfold area of Sussex.
My maternal grandmother was a Harris from the Taunton area of Somerset.
My wife's family name is Cahill. The Cahills came from the Callan area of Co. Kilkenny, Ireland. Some of the family emigrated to the USA in the 19th cent.
