In the early 1600's the Morgan family in Bala, Merioneth, Wales heard the famous George Fox while he was on a missionary trip to convert the welsh to his new religion called the Quakers. They joined George Fox in London to help promote the new religion.

When William Penn received a land grant for a colony in the new world, the Morgan family were among the first boatloads of Quakers to voyage to the new world and settle in the Pennsylvania territory.

That's where our story begins....

THE AMERICAN MORGAN FAMILY

It's with pride that I dedicate this page to the American Morgan Family in honor of a man who wore the Morgan name with pride, my father, George Raymond Morgan!

From the mountains of Wales, across the Atlantic and then across the American continent, the Morgan family has travelled from Sea to Shining Sea!
