Jens Peter Baunsgard family

Jens Peter Baunsgard married to Inga Marie Jenson came to America from Denmark. The family name was originally Jenson. Baunsgard was the name of the family farm in Denmark meaning "Signal Fire". The children were Jens Peter, Marius, Anton, Margaret, Christian and Christine.

The Baunsgard's could be found all over the Seattle area, but it is not known if that is the first place they settled in America. From a family tape, it is known that Marius came to the Ballard, WA area from Wisconsin to be near his brother Anton Baunsgard in about 1895. Apparently, Jens Peter & Inga Marie homesteaded near Lake Ozette, WA (but this has not yet been proven).

I would appreciate contact with anybody with additonal information about my mother's family (the Baunsgard's). I am willing to share information that I have collected. - RF
