I am researching the family history of my parents, Ronald B. Fitch of Winooski, Vermont and Dorothy M. LeMieux of Lebanon, New Hampshire. Have traced father's lineage to his great grandfather and mother-Roswell Fitch of New York, born about 1802 and Sarah Evans of Philadelphia, born about 1807. On my mother's side, have traced to her great grandparents, Joseph LeMieux (about 1850-1927) and Hattie E. Longiver LeMieux (about 1855-1919). Much found--much more to find. Thanks to Cheryl Allard, Jackie Muir and Ed Bordeau for all the previous research on the Fitch name and to many other contributors of recent family history...and to Wayne Howe and Larry Brousseau for their contributions to the LeMieux family history. Special thanks to John T. Fitch of Cambridge who has published several Fitch genealogy books which transport me back to England in the 14th and 15th Centuries and 1638 to Rev James Fitch in America--one of the Country's first pilgrims and my great grandfather 11 times removed!
