* Fitzmaurice's of Western Canada*

Updated December 5, 2000

The Thomas Fitzmaurice family connection out of Bracebridge Ontario early 1900's. Orginally "Pap Fitzmaurice" from Ireland to Chicago to Muskoka Lakes in late 1800's. I am endeavoring to find dates and relationships back to the early 1800's when this Fitzmaurice branch left Ireland. I recognize that some stayed in the Chicogo area one in the Minot, North Dakota area and one in California,and my grandfather who migrated to Ste Rose dulac Manitoba in the early 1900's. Most relationships will be around Bracebridge Ontario.
