| My name is Michael Fiume. I have been doing research on my mothers side of our family for about 15 years. My mother was born in Calhoun County, West Virginia. We are decendants of the Collins, Smiths, and Sniders of Calhoun County, and the Hickmans of Ritchie County. My 2nd great grandfather, John D. Collins fought for the 11th WV Regiment, Co. C, in the Civil War. Though I have quite a bit of information, there are still many "blanks" to be filled, and I am always grateful to those willing to share additional information, and I am happy to provide help to others from my own research. |
