| This is an on-going effort began by my Father, George Ruben, to identify the connections of the Fivecoate family all over the World. His efforts became my legacy. I have already found many family members throughout the U.S. Hopefully this page will further strenghten the ties of the family. Any and all valid contributions will be most welcome. Nearly 35 years of searching has gone into this endeavour so far. The original spelling of the name was Funfrock. The family lived in the area of Alcase, France and Tubingen, Germany. There are many loose ends that need to be tied up to make the family complete. Many of the family settled in Eastern Ohio, in Harrison, and Cuyahoga counties. Eventually they migrated to Indiana. Other parts of the family have spread to other parts of the United States including Iowa, Texas, Florida, California, Colorado, Montana, Washington, and Oregon. I don't pretend to know all of the family, but with help from others, throughout the country, I have gained some useful knowledge that ties us together as a family. |
