WINIFRED'S WELL, THE HILLMER FAMILY HOME PAGE.

I'm researching the following family lines:Henry Herman Hillmer,from the Hamburg Germany area, He married Margaret Gegner, of Uefeld, Mittelfranken, Bavaria Germany. They lived first in Des Moines & Then in Carroll Iowa from the 1880's to 1950's.Margaret is also related to the Gegner's of Cincinnati Ohio.

Parker, descendants of Tille Parker of Bethel Vermont 1790's.
He was married to Miriam Wallace and died 1815 in Nunda New York.

The family of James McMechan of County Down, Ireland, in the town
of Castlewellen, who relocated to Boone, Iowa in 1881. His
parents were David McMechan and Sarah Jane Wiley.

The Parr family of Essex, Albmarle, Rockbridge,Virginia and Fayette County Ohio, Poweshiek, Keokuk, & Dallas Counties in Iowa. Alexander Parr Sr. born 1792, Alexander Parr Jr. born 1832, married Julia Abrams (daughter of Joseph Abrams and Ann Mayfiled) in Iowa 1847 they had at least 12 children. Joseph, Mary Ellen, Alice, Charlotte, Elizabeth, Dollie Florence, William Franklin, Bessie Mae, Andrew J., Charles Albert, George. Alexander jr. had the following siblings:
Archibald born 1816 Va., William born apx. 1818 Va., Ellen born 1825, & Lucinda (Cinderella) born 1835 Va. Archibald married Sarah E. Whitney, William married Nancy Champ, Lucinda married William Grubbs White. We do not know what happened to Ellen after 1850.
