| I am researching the Flannery's who immigrated from Ireland to Canada and then to the United States, and the Cobb's who I have traced back to James T. Cobb born in Conn. in 1792.John Flannery B. 23 June 1837 in Co. Tipperary, town of Nenagh. Immigrated from Ireland to Canada in 1845. In 1861 he was a resident of the city of Ottawa, Carleton County, Ontario, with his wife Elizabeth Swain B. 1831. Their children were Patrick Flannery B.1858, Catherin Flannery B.1860, Elizabeth Flannery B.1863, and John Flannery B. 1865.In 1871 they were residing in Goulbourn, Nepean, Carleton County, Ontario. Elizabeth (Swain) Flannery D. around 1885.John remarried a Margret Young B. 11 July 1856 in Ontario., Marrage around 1885-1889. John D. 12 February 1943 in Cumberland, Ontario. James T. Cobb B 26 February 1792 in Conn. Married Catherin Pratt 08 October 1824 James T Cobb D. 08 January 1876 in Lowellville, Mahoning Co., Ohio.Catherin Pratt B. 06 June 1803 in New York.
