Martha H. Mason (nee Stuart)was the grand daughter of James Wilsonone of the signers of the Declaration of Independence.
Martha and Nelson moved to Tarentum Pa. 1866 and resided there since.
After her conversion some 50 years ago she united with the Baptist Church. She was a chartermember of the 1st Baptist Church of Tarentum,Pa.,held in highest esteem by fellow members and an active church worker.
She was of a loving and devout christian sprit, resigned to the will of God. All during her illness she was brave and cheerful. She was devoted to God and her family.
After an illness of 5 weeks and 1 day she died peacefully. She was prepared for the hour and was "only waiting".
