NORTON, PECK, ALLEN, CAMP, MUNSON,
Through genealogy research I have found a 4th cousin, Matt and he has provided the information on the Robert J Fleury branch of the family and I have provided the information on the George W Fleury side of the family.
Robert J and George W were brothers, sons of Robert D Fleury (B-1832-33 Ireland) and Isabella Stephenson (B 1837-38 Ireland. To date I have not located any family or origin information for Robert D Fleury. I have been trying to find him prior to the 1870 census since the year 2000. I don't know if we will ever make progress in the elusive Robert D as we call him...He died in 1875, and it seems all history of his family died with him. His wife Isabella has been a little easier to find, dating back to 1850. Information has been found on her parents and siblings, but nothing prior to that is known.
At this point in time I am also seeking information on the Northrup family. I recently came upon some information that records them back to the early 1600's.
I am also seeking information on Margaretta Johnson Foster Heald (Foster is 1st husband) B 1845 D-June 26, 1895. All that is known of her parents and siblings is that their names are John Johnson and that the mother's maiden name is Haight.
I am also seeking information on William Young of Kentucky, but parentage from NY B-1857. His wife was Margaret Mulhern B-1858 Born in New York. Her mothers name is Margaret also, she has a brother named Thomas.
Now there is also a Sven Anders glad, father of Anders Lindelof, Born in Sweden, 1836 and his mother Anna...no doors have opened for those 2 yet. His wife Mary Erickson B 1843 Sweden remains elusive as well...
And with each new name I discover, it adds new names to my list of people to research...
So, pull up a chair, it will take you a while to sort through this maize, but take a stroll through and see if you too are an unknown cousin.
We have even more family to be discovered...
Perhaps your family is the one that will give me the key to further investigate my heritage, and my information will help you in the pursuit of yours...and we will find we are cousins...in some kind of crazy way :-)
