The Fletcher Family Home Page

Interested in the Fletcher family. Both of my parents descend from the Fletchers in England. They were not related as for as I know. On my father's side I go back to Andrew Fletcher, b. 19 Sep 1680 and Mary Willson, b. 1682, who were married in 1700. He died about 1716 and she died 1730, both in Chester Co., PA. They had a son, John Fletcher, Sr. who married Eleanor Hindman on 25 May 1735, Chester Co, PA. They had several children. On my mother's side I go back to Joseph Fletcher, b. 1825, Thorpe In Balne, Yorkshire Co., England and Mary Stringer, b. 1831, Balne, Yorkshire Co., England. Their son, Zachariah Thomas Fletcher and wife Mariah Ann Lodge came to the U.S on 6 July 1882 on their honeymoon and they just stayed. They had two children.
