I found some new and interesting information for you: 1) The birth record of Ferdinand Prokupek - 5th September 1879 in Dolní Sekyrany 2) The birth records of some siblings of Ferdinand 3) The birth record of Josef Seltenhofer - 2nd February 1877 in Pamferhutte 4) The birth records of the brothers of Josef - Karl and Anton I also wanted to find the siblings of Anton Seltenhofer. I researched the parish book for village Sitbor but I did not find anyone with the name Seltenhofer. Then I research the parish boks for the marriage of Franziska Kramer and Ferdinand Prokupek in Sitbor (in the years 1897 - 1902) but I did not find it there. The same I wanted to find in the parish book for the village Dolni Sekyrany but there is accessible the parish books till the year 1867 and the following years are probably in the town office in Hermanova Hut. The birth records for Dolni Sekeryrany are accessible till the year 1890 in the archive of Plzen, so I can to did the research for the birth record of Barbora Kramer/Prokupek in this village. The following parish record are probably also in the town office in Hermanova Hut. I also tryed to find the older siblings of Ferdinad Prokupek but I did not find anyone. It mean that the parents of Ferdinad (Josef Prokupek and Barbora Sajner) get married probably during the years 1875 - 1879 maybe in Dolni Sekyrany. If you want I can contact the town office in Hermanova Hut and try to continue in this way. Thank you for all the atachement and the information about the birth of Barbora. I think it will be very helpfull to find her birth place. I suggest to start with the village Dolni Sekyrany. 40. e-mail of Alfred Piwonka, Heimat Director for the Böhmenwald area, Hello Rod Fleck, nach meinen Unterlagen ist der Name "Kraemer" in Schuettwa zumindest in der Zeit vor der Vertreibung 1945/46 nicht vorgekommen. Ich habe den Namen nur in Neugramatin, einem Nachbarort von Schuettwa. Auch in den Trauungen des Ortes Schuettwa zwischen 1784 und 1895 kommt der Name nicht vor. Lediglich bei den Trauungen von Neugramatin in diesem Zeitraum habe ich einen Hinweis gefunden. Es gab einen ungefähr 1873 geborenen Karl Kremer, Dienstknecht in Neugramatin, Sohn des Anton Kremer, Inwohner in Schuettwa und der Mutter Maria Zellner aus Eisenstrass, Bezirk Neuern im Boehmerwald. Es spricht also einiges dafuer, dass die Familie Kraemer/Kremer nur Inwohner und nicht dauernd sesshaft war in Schuettwa. Mit freundlichen Gruessen Alfred Piwonka.

Translation of the postcard of Josef and his wife, written by his wife, notes that he is 76 as of February and on the 21 of July she would be 65. Within the letters, Josef repeatedly refers to his Liebe Schwester! He notes that he and his wife have been married 50 years (1959 letter) and he sent a 50th Anniversary picture. In that same letter he states that they have lived in Spalt/Schwabach for 13 years as of 18 Mai. Original Letters found in the estate of Elsie Prokupek.

I found some new and interesting information for you: 1) The birth record of Ferdinand Prokupek - 5th September 1879 in Dolní Sekyrany 2) The birth records of some siblings of Ferdinand 3) The birth record of Josef Seltenhofer - 2nd February 1877 in Pamferhutte 4) The birth records of the brothers of Josef - Karl and Anton I also wanted to find the siblings of Anton Seltenhofer. I researched the parish book for village Sitbor but I did not find anyone with the name Seltenhofer. Then I research the parish boks for the marriage of Franziska Kramer and Ferdinand Prokupek in Sitbor (in the years 1897 - 1902) but I did not find it there. The same I wanted to find in the parish book for the village Dolni Sekyrany but there is accessible the parish books till the year 1867 and the following years are probably in the town office in Hermanova Hut. The birth records for Dolni Sekeryrany are accessible till the year 1890 in the archive of Plzen, so I can to did the research for the birth record of Barbora Kramer/Prokupek in this village. The following parish record are probably also in the town office in Hermanova Hut. I also tryed to find the older siblings of Ferdinad Prokupek but I did not find anyone. It mean that the parents of Ferdinad (Josef Prokupek and Barbora Sajner) get married probably during the years 1875 - 1879 maybe in Dolni Sekyrany. If you want I can contact the town office in Hermanova Hut and try to continue in this way. Thank you for all the atachement and the information about the birth of Barbora. I think it will be very helpfull to find her birth place. I suggest to start with the village Dolni Sekyrany. 55. e-mail from Paul Ptacek, I'm also curious as to what the 'alias' means in the transcription of Franziska Kramer's birth record. I looked over the transcript again and I think 'Snieriesen' should be 'Seewiesen' (which is now Javorna). I also think that 'Eisenstrass' might be 'Eisenstrass' (which is now Hojsova Straz). I can't say for sure until I see the copy of the birth record.
