He married FERBA ANN PILES July 1853 in Reynolds County, MO, daughter of RICHARD PILES and LAVINA.  She was born April 09, 1838 in MO, and died August 02, 1910 in Reynolds County, MO.

Notes for PETER BENJAMIN CASEY:
Moved with his family to Oregon County, MO from Jefferson County Illinois in 1840.
Moved to Reynolds County from Oregon County in 1853.
Peter was proud of the fact that in 1860 he cast the only vote in Reynolds County for Abraham Lincoln for president.  In 1863 politics became too warm for comfort and he moved back to Illinois and remained two years. Then he returned to Reynolds County and remained a resident.  He voted for every Republican for president since Lincoln. 
Both he and Ferby were members of the Missionary Baptist Church. He was a close student of religious matters and knew the Bible almost by heart.

Notes for CHARLES EDDY:
Charlie's headstone in Price Cemetery gives an incorrect birth year of 1889.  Annie Casey was born in 1887 and Charlie was much older than her.  His birthdate was given as February 22, 1873.  However, on their marriage license, Charlie is listed as 29 years and Annie is listed as 21 years.

My mother, Bernice Eddy Bennett always maintained that Charlie was a big story teller who claimed to be the black sheep of his family.  He would never talk about other members of his family, and Mom always suspected that he may have even changed his name.  On the 1920 Census for Reynolds County, MO, Carroll twp, ED#78, page 12,  Charlie lists his parents as having come from Mexico.  On the 1930 Census for Reynolds County, MO, Webb twp, District 8, page 3a, he lists his parents as coming from Georgia and Texas.
