I am researching the FLICK family from North Central Pa. Mainly Montour, Lycoming, Columbia, and surrounding counties.Philip Flick in America on the passenger list for the ship Lydia. He arrived in America on 29, Oct 1785 on the ship Lydia, captained by Captain Gardner Hammond. The ship sailed from Amsterdam and arrived in Philadelphia. According to Pa. German Pioneers V.3by Strassburger & Hinke, on Pg. 13: Listed as family #2 were: Philip Flick, who arrived with son: John, son: Anthony, son: Lewis and daughter: Anna Maria I have been unable to connect my line to the Gerlach Paul line as yet, however it is possible the two lines connect back in Germany. If someone has information connecting the two branches I would love to share to see it! I have extensive information on the Gerlach Paul side of the family which I hope to connect with my side of the Flick tree. Other surnames on the Flick side of my family that I'm researching include: Remley, Varner, Farley, Styer, Fairchild, Blue, Wintersteen In addition, I'm also researching the Schexnayder/Schexneider family from Crowley La. Other surnames in this family include: Hargrove, Simon, Dailey and Hargrove Any information would be appreciated. I am also willing to share the information that I have.
