Notes for ALFRED C STIPE:
Alfred served in the Civil War - during that time, an explosion occurred in camp and Alfred's eyes were damaged due to flash burn. He was found living with his sister, Sarah and her husband Benjamin Morgan in McMinn Co, TN in 1870. His mother also lived there.

8. FANNY² BISHOP (JOSEPH¹) was born Abt. 1802, and died Aft. 1850. She married WILLIAM LIPE 21 November 1822 in Hawkins Co, TN (Marriage Bond)¹⁵. He was born Abt. 1802, and died Bet. 1843 - 1902.
