My mother's maiden name was Charlotte Edith Heffernan.She was always called Ada. She was born on a farm at Norwood Ontario. Her parents and family moved to Cleveland Ohio where she worked in an office. In 1907 her dad, brother Joe, sister Anna all moved to the Grainger district and took up homesteading. My mom and dad met at a dance and later married, in 1912. They had 7 children, two dying at birth.
