Jane married James Henry Blackner in 1852. Jane, her husband, and their four children emigrated in March, 1860, on the ship, "Underwriter." Her little daughter Emilie was born on the Hudson River in New York. This baby became ill with whooping cough while crossing the Plains, and died in Jane's arms. They were members of John Smith's Ox Train Company, and arrived in the Salt Lake Valley , September 1, 1860. The Blackners settled in Beaver County, at Greenville and Beaver. James Henry had a mill at Beaver. Jane was active in Relief Society and in the community. At times, the Indians were a lot of trouble for the people in the area. Jane's husband took another wife, Mary Jane Jones. Jane Allen Blackner died at Greenville, September 16, 1915, and is buried in the Beaver Cemetery. She had two brothers, Henry and John, and a sister, Ann. Elizabeth married Richard Blackner, May 29, 1820 in Heckington, Lincolnshire, England. She later married John Butler on June 18, 1834, in England. Elizabeth was converted and was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on October 9, 1850. It was Elizabeth's desire to go to Utah to be with the Saints. She sailed from England on May 14, 1862, on the ship "William Tappscott." Upon arriving in New York, she arranged to cross the Plains, with Captain John, R. Murdock's Ox-Train Company. Elizabeth was sixty-three years old at the time. It was her desire to go to Zion and help build the Kingdom of God on the Earth. She arrived in the Salt Lake Valley on September 27, 1862. She married Morgan Jenkins, October 26, 1867, in the Endowment House in Salt Lake City, Utah. They made their home in Greenville, Beaver County , Utah. He was a schoolmaster and she was a mid-wife. Elizabeth died in Beaver, Utah, on August 1, 1893, at the age of ninety six years. Family and friends considered her a great and wond4erful woman and a pioneer of faith and fortitude. She had lived a long life of usefulness and service to her family and all the people she knew.
