| My research includes surnames such as PORTER, MAY, JACKSON, JOHNSON, FOJTIK, ALMANZA, AND PARKER just to name a few. My current goal is to identify the Parents of my great grandfather Alexander Campbell Porter. I have information that he was born in Lexington, KY on March 13, 1859. His death certificate lists his parents as being from Ireland, but no names. I was told that his family moved to OHIO where he was raised until he was a young man at which time he ran away from home and ended up in North Texas. The story goes that he ran away from home and never saw them again and the family and brothers moved on to California. |
