I am researching the Fry Family from Detroit, Michigan. The first Fry I can find is Charles Fry, born in Kewstoke, England abt 1826. His mother was Sarah Payne, born in England, March 13, 1797, died in Detroit, MI, September 06, 1884. She came to North America with Charles. He married a woman named Betsie, and migrated to Oshawa, Canada. He had a son named William Henry, Born 10 Mar 1851, in Oshawa, Canada. He married Margaret Jane Day, of Ypsilanti, born 10 Mar 1855, died 17 Mar 1932. They in turn had Albert Clarence, Walter Scott, Elizabeth Eunice, George Morris and Edwin Ervin. George Morris was born 26 Feb 1878, I believe in Detroit, Michigan. George was married twice, 1st to a woman name Lulu Eddy, who died. He later married Susan Mary Bondy of Malden, Essex County, Canada. Susan was born April 26 1879 in Canada. I have much more info on the Bondy's, but this is the Fry story. George and Susan had 10 children. Fern (Mary Lulu), Myron James, Homer Roger, Hazel Mae, Helen Janet, Nelson Glenn "Pete", Elton Maurice, Carroll Clayton, Bernard Lewis, and Marcellus. This brings me to Elton Maurice Fry who was my father. I would be willing to help anyone looking for information on this Fry family. I am also researching the Bondy name from Malden area of Essex County, Canada and the Menard name from Bell Riviere, Essex County, Canada. I will add their stories at a later date.
My maternal grandfather's name: Denis Joseph Menard, born in Belle River, Ontario. His father's name was Donus Menard, His mother's name was Elise Ladouceur. My maternal grandmother's maiden name was Anna Tomsheck (Tomczak?) (Brose). Anna's parents names were Valentine Tomsheck (Tomczak?), and Frances Kubish (Brose).
