The David A. Foltz Family Home Page

I am primarily researching the Foltz (Fultz, Fuls, Phautz) family name that descends from "Old" Johannes Foltz who moved to Virginia from the Lancaster Pennsylvania region in the mid-eighteenth century. He married Katherine Zallofenine in PA in 1751 and moved first to Winchester VA where he bought property, then to Page County VA in the 1760s. If you have any information about their parents left behind in Germany or about them and their family of ten children, I'd be most grateful if you would share it. I am also interested in other surnames: Kibler, Strickler, Perkipine--all of whom married into the Foltz family, either in VA or in southern Illinois (starting @ 1850). Other surnames are Jenkins, (IL, St. Louis MO. late 19th century), McGuire, (NJ, starting in 18th century) Allen (NY) Gibson (NJ).I would be very happy to exchange any information I have with anyone who will share information about any of these surnames.
