For RHEA reserchers, the parentage of Matthew 'The Rebel' Rhea of Scotland and Ireland is the documentation most sought after. I not yet seen any conclusive evidence connecting him to the Campbell clan described in family lore.
Col. John PEMBERTON and Elizabeth STANTON were prominent residents of Sullivan Co., TN at the time of the Revolution but I have been unable to uncover John Pemberton's parentages. Hopefully these names will make a connection with other research in the area of mid 1700's Virginia.
