| REUNION UPDATE: When: Saturday, June 19, 1999 Where: Armstrong Community Center, Armstrong, Texas (near Belton, TX) Time: 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM This web page is dedicated to the memory of Solomon S. and Susan Amanda Cook Barnes. They lived in Williamson and Bell Counties in Texas during the late 1800s and early 1900s. Their children, Willie Mae, Raleigh Cook, Louie Richard, James Lester (Tess), Milburn Solomon (Bus), Orin Ardis, Thomas Franklin (T.F.), and Joseph Cullen Barnes are the parents, aunt and uncles of a passle of cousins! Joe Barnes, the last living child of Sol and Susie Barnes, will be 86 years old in August 1999. It was at his request a few years ago that we revive the tradition of these Barneses and gather annually in the Belton, Texas area. So, if you're interested in Barnes genealogy (this group got to Texas via Hamburg, AR from the Anson/Union Counties of North Carolina), please join us on Saturday, June 19, 1999 in the Belton area.
