| My name is Nancy Folds, maiden name VERDUN. I have done research on the VERDUN surname that begins with Adam VERDUN, married to Anne Dauphin in New Orlean, Louisiana in the 1700's. Their son, Alexander VERDUN is the line that I have researched. As yet, I have found no other information on Adam VERDUN, but I believe he came to New Orleans from France. Alexander VERDUN settled south of New Orleans in an area today that is called Raceland, Louisiana. Many VERDUN'S still reside in Raceland and the name is very well known in that area. |
