      Know to all men by their presence that William Followwill and Isaac Miles Jr. are held and firmly bound unto his eccelency the Governor of Kentucky in the amount of fifty pounds current money to be payment of which well and truely to be made to the said Governor his successors we bind our lives for eternity and severally, firmely by these presences hold with our seal and date this 10th October, 1803.

      The conditions of this obligation is such that where as there is a marriage shortly intended between the above bound William Followwill and Margery Miles for which a license for favored, now if there be a lawfull cause to abstract the marriage then this obligation to be void or be to remain in full force and virture.
