Newton M. Foster Deed To Peter Patterson Part. No. 62-11-2 State of Georgia, Gilmer County, This indenture made and entered into this seventeenth day of September One thousand eight hundred and fifty and between N. M. Foster of the county and state aforesaid of the one part and P. & & I.M. Patterson of the other part. Witnesseth that to this said N.M. Foster for and in consideration of the sum of forty dollars to him in hand paid does grant bargain sell and convey unto the said P.& I.M. Patterson a certain portion of land in the town of Ellijay to commence at the corner of Lot number eleven thence down the street _____ Rod, thence back parallel with the street. Eighteen and a half rods thence up to back corner of number eleven, thence to the beginning containing fifty five rods. To have and to hold said bargained land unto the said P.& I.M. Patterson their heirs and assigns and that said N.M. Foster will warrant and forever defend the right and title thereof against himself and heirs and against the claim of all other persons.
