I am researching the names FORSYTHE, MOORE, COXFORD, PORTER, ELLIS, BIRD, BURT/BURTT, AND BARCLAY.

The FORSYTHE FAMILY
My research on the Forsythe family goes back to Northern Ireland. William was born in 1751 in Anniliton Parish, Clanibret, Monagham, Ireland. He married Susannah Maxwell, the daughter of Lord Farnham. There are no records of their marriage or the birth of their children. William and Susannah came to Canada and settled near Brockville, Ontario. After the death of Susannah,William and his two children John and Agnes moved to Pakenham, Ontario. I am searching for info on John and his descendants, as well as William and Susannah.

The COXFORD FAMILY
John Forsythe's grandson William James (nicknamed Ben) married ESTHER COXFORD in 1881, the daughter of James Coxford and Mary Jane Kennedy.
The Coxford Family came to Canada from England. James (also known as John) Coxford was a stonemason by trade and was said to be killed in a rock fall while working on the construction of the Rideau Canal. He married Esther Hull or Hall
James born in 1836 was one of the four children who came to Canada with his parents James and Esther. He was a shoemaker in Ottawa and later in Blakeney; In 1858 he married Mary Jane Kennedy who was born in Belfast, Ireland (An attempt to trace Mary Kennedy, who mother's name was McCann has not been very successful to this point.) James and Mary had 18 children. Do you know of any Coxfords?

THE MOORE FAMILY
Andrew Moore is my earliest known ancestor. He was born in 1649. He married Sarah Phelps in 1670 in Hartford, Connecticut. The research on the descendants in this line have been very successful with the combined efforts of many new found cousins. Any additonal info on this family is always welcome. We are looking for the parents of Andrew and confirmation of his birth place. See the Descendant Report for Andrew Moore below. Is this your ancestor?

THE PORTER FAMILY - THE ELLIS FAMILY
My maternal grandfather Philip Ethelbert Porter was born in Glen Allan,Ontario in 1881. He married Isabella Logan (nee Ellis) in 1916 in London, England. Philip's parents were George Porter and Maryann Wood who lived in Glen Allan, Ontario. Isabella's parents were David Ellis and Isabelle McDonald from Fife, Scotland. Any information on any of these people and their descendatns or ancestors would be GREATLY appreciated.

THE BIRD FAMILY
Samuel Bird was born in 1770 in County Donagal near Londonderry, Ireland. He married Letitia King. They emigrated to Canada and settled in New Brunswick near Fredericton about 1824. I am looking for any info on the parentage of both Samuel and Letitia.

THE BURT/ BURTT FAMILY
The Burt family came from England to settle in Massachusetts. Some of the Burt family moved to Connecticut. The Burt family of Benjamin and Rebecca were forced to move from their home in Conneticut because of The Revolutionary War. They resettled in New Brunswick near Fredericton as United Empire Loyalists. I am looking for any information on Benjamin and Rebecca Burt, their ancestors and descendants.

THE BARCLAY FAMILY
Janet Beatrice Barclay was born in Kitchener, Ontario in 1900. Her mother's name was Isabelle.I do not know Isabelle's surname or her husbands given name. Isabelle also married a Rolieaux (spelling ?) and then a Robichaud. Isabelle moved to Marysville, British Columbia about 1901. She had three other daughters,Pearl,Eddie and May. Janet was the youngest. Can anyone tell me who Isabelle was? What Barclay did she marry, and what happened to him?

ANY INFORMATION ANYONE CAN GIVE ME ON ANY OF MY FAMILY SURNAMES WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. I WILL GLADLY SHARE ANY INFORMATION I HAVE.
***I have not included any living relatives in any of these reports. To protect their privacy I have excluded publishing the generations that contain their information. If you have or need information on anyone please conta
