Notes for Neoma A. Comment: Naoma A. Rieck, Unionville, Passed away Thursday evening, March 10, 2005, at the age of 91. She was born in Gagetown on Aug. 16, 1913, the daughter of Frank and Hattie (Proulx) Comment. She married Harold Rieck on May 6, 1933. He preceded her in death in 1972. Naoma was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Sebewaing. During early years, she had worked for the Oxhorn Bar in Bach and the Colwood Bar. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Jeannine and John Essler of Columbiaville; grandchildren, Kim Haag, Renae (Greg) Benn and Allen Uhl, all of Caro, Raymond Haag and friend, Chris, of Tampa, Fla., and Jill (Frank) Wolf of Unionville; sons-in-law, Nelson (Donna) Uhl of Appollo Beach, Fla., and Fred and Maude Haag of Sebewaing; 10 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Naoma was preceded in death by two daughters, Juanita Uhl and Beverly Haag; a brother, Harry Comment, and two sisters, Irene Grappin and Lucille Dobbs. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, March 14, from Holy Family Church, with Rev. John Weiss officiating. Friends may call at Unionville Funeral Chapel on Sunday from 2-9 p.m. and at the church on Monday from 10 a.m. until Mass time. Memorials may be made to the church.
