The Ancestors of Brady Kelley Foster

My family research has been a work in progess since the early 1930's. My Great-Grandfather, Rolla Elbert Cowger Began at that time, and was assisted by his son, my uncle, Charles Cowger. The research was then Carried on by his son, Chuck Cowger. When Chuck unfortunately passed away, the torch was picked up by myself, and my uncle Mike who lives in the UK. I have expanded my own family tree to include my Father's side of the tree. My husband Jeff likes to refer to me as a "Geneaholic", and wishes there were a 12 step program to sign me up for! I have always been interested in my ancestry. As a child, I played at My Great-Grandpa's feet while he would spend many hours at the typewriter, writing to courthouses and 16th Cousins twice removed from all over the Country. So I guess I come by it honestly! He would be amazed at the wealth of information that is now available on the net! I hope you enjoy our site!

  My Great-Grandmother, Bertha Kelly-Foster was born Sep. 14, 1896 in Southern IL, Pope, or Massac County, To James W. & Lovey Wells-Rolfe-Kelly. She married Vernon Caldwell Foster. She died Aug. 11, 1972 In Denver.

  My Great-Grandfather, Vernon Caldwell Foster was born in 1892 to Moses Caldwell Foster & Elizabeth McGrew. He married Bertha Kelly. He died Nov. 1945 in Livingston Co. KY.
• Moses Caldwell Foster (139 KB)
  My Great-Great Grandfather, Moses Caldwell Foster was born Oct. 7, 1857 in Livingston Co. Ky. to James R. Foster & Mary Willis Champion. He married Elizabeth McGrew Sep. 30, 1881 in Hardin Co. Illinois. He died Jan. 10 1930 in Paducah, KY.

  My Grandpa & My son. James Kelley Foster was born Dec. 5, 1921 to Vernon Caldwell Foster & Bertha Kelly. He is married to Wilma Pearl Davenport, daughter of Norban Earl Davenport, & Mamie Canada. Brady was born July 27, 1997.

  My Great-Great-Great-Great-Grandma!! She was born in 1833 in TN to Wiley Thurman & Elizabeth Parker-Lee. She married John Canada (Kennedy in the marriage record) in Rutherford Co. TN 7-26-1850. She is the mother of John Francis Marion Canada.

  My Great-Great-Great-Grandfather. He was born 3-29-1854 to Elizabeth Thurman & John Canada. He married Mary Louisa McMican 11-17-1874 in Crittenden Co. KY. He is the father of Jess Lee Canada. John Francis Marion Canada died in 1924 in Luther OK.
