1835 (approximately) - Editor's Note: Joseph Sidden must have died betwe
en 1830 and 1840 and during this time period, Joseph Siddens family mov
ed from Rowan County to Davidson Co. NC or that part of the County's na
me changed from Rowan County to Davidson County. JosephSidden may have di
ed in early 1835. The administrator for Joseph Siddens Estate sent a noti
fication on 17 Feb 1835 to all those people who had claims against Jose
ph Sidden. J.B. Ellis was his administrator, and the NC Archives inRalei
gh has papers from his estate.
