Notes for (James Richard) Foster: Was his name Richard Foster / Forster ; James Foster ; James RichardFoster or Richard James Foster ? There are allot of possible answers. One thing is for sure he had at least Two sons Robert and John and possibly James and Richard. Family History claims his Wife was Susannah Garnett , But was there a wife before her for a short period .

I have relied on information supplied via His E-mail Exchange & His Volume I for his Works: "The Foster Family of Flanders, England and America" ----His Identifying the Difference in Richard A (our Immigrant ) and Richard B Richard A's brother in Law 1600s Colonial Virginia .
This Richard Foster is Richard (A) who immigrated aboard the " Safety " in 1635 with his mother Mirah Dorcas Isham Foster Hoskins and his Step father Bartholomew Hoskins.With Richard was his Sister Ann Foster. Possibly a brother Robert. Barthlomew Hoskins was acknowledged by Richard as his stepfather and without Bart Hoskins Richard may not have been motivated to settle in the Virginia Colony.
Notes of Dr Billy G Foster: It is obvious that Richard Foster who married Dorcas Hoskins, served as attorney to This Richard Foster brother of Ann and that Dorcas Hoskins was a half-sister to him. . It is also clear that it was this Richard Foster left for England, as he is seen leaving a deed of gift to his niece, Sarah Williamson with Richard Foster acting as his attorney. Richard Foster (A) and Richard Foster (B) are now one-half brother-in-law. We find that Richard Foster did stay in England his full five years returning to Virginia in 1654. We know that Ann Foster (born 1620 and 43 years old in 1663) and Richard Foster (are siblings and that Roger Williamson, whom she married June 5, 1646, was her first husband she then Married a Carraway. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ note: Author of the report WLF I have found the Families of Haskew , Garnett & others whose Daughters married Children and Grandchildren of Richard and Sussanah --lived close to the Fosters in Essex / Gloucester/ Albermarle Counties of Colonial Va .
