Paul Lorenz2 Fischel (Joseph Conrad1) (Source: Letter from Protestant Church Congregation of Essenheim dated October 16, 1984 documents Johannes Fischel's baptism there as well as his parents, grandparents and siblings.) was born May 1657 in Eisenheim, Rheinhausen, Hesse, Germany. He married Anna Maria Kaufers 20 Sep 1691. She was born 22 Aug 1669.

Information on Paul Lorenz Fishel and his father, Joseph Conrad Fischel comes from Greg Rees on the ancestry.com web site and from Sue Fox, a researcher from Indiana. Sue Fox stated that Johannes' parents were Paulus Lorenze Fishel and Elisabeth Christman. She lists his grandparents as Conrad Fishel and Elizabeth Hartman. However, Greg Rees lists Paul Lornenz Fischel married to Anna Maria Kaufers. and Joseph Conrad Fishel married to Elizabeth Christmann. I do not know the sources for this information.
