The Frazier Family Home Page

Updated September 5, 2000

I am researching the FRAZIER family, so that my descendants can better understand their heritage and their family origins.
Isaac FRAZIER, b. 1740 in Virginia married Olivia LEE, b. 1750 in Virginia. They migrated to Catahoula Parish, Louisiana and had eight children. Their fifth child, was my great, great, great grandfather, John FRAZIER, b. 1798, d. 1870. Upon his death in 1870, his third wife, Elizabeth Ann McCollum BASS, migrated with their eight children to Sunflower County, Mississippi. John FRAZIER'S seven children from previous marriages and the other descendants of Isaac FRAZIER remained in Louisiana.

Other branches of the family being researched are the William HARRIS family of Panola County, Mississippi about 1750; the HALE family of Panola and Bolivar Counties, Mississippi; The Evans WILLING family of Maryland and Copiah County, Mississippi; The George NEWTON family of Copiah County, Mississippi; the Moses NORMAN family; The Lube LIPHAM family; The Alexander ANDERSON family and the William Walton COWART family of Denham Springs, Louisiana.

Any information would be appreciated. I am also willing to share the information I have
