Mrs. Bessie Lee Waggoner, 87, Rt. 1 Mineral Wells, Wood County died Friday evening in Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital after a long illness. She was a daughter of the late Monroe and Moriah Templeton Franklin. She was a member of the Evangelical United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, S. J. Waggoner; four sons, Homer Waggoner of Parkersburg, Elvin of North Lawrence, Ohio, Bruce of Navarre, Ohio, and Ernest of Massillon, Ohio; five daughters, Mrs. Edith Gerbec of Tampa, FL, Mrs. Hazel Geiger of North Lawrence, Ohio, Mrs. Ruby Angus and Mrs. Minnie Angus, both of Sandyville Mrs. Grace Angus of Parkersburg; two brothers Willie Franklin of Ravenswood and Clint Franklin of Canal Fulton, Ohio 29 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday at the Drift Run United Methodist Church at Sandyville the Rev. Thurman Slusser and the Rev. Raymond Deen officiated with burial in the Independence Cemetery.
