He married Mary Corey Abt. 1765. She was born Abt. 1745, and died Bet. 1807 - 1810 in Northumberland Cty, District of Newcastle, Upper Canada.

To His Honor, Peter Russell, Esquire, President Administering the Government of Upper Canada-
In Council

Peter Irish has been settled in this Province upward of seven years and has made large improvement on lands he purchased and having never drawn any lands prays that your Honor will be pleased to order him a location for himself, wife and five children born before the year 1789.
